Your child was given a small slip of paper Monday, Feb. 9, to tape into that day’s agenda.  If the paper was blank, nothing is owed.  If an assignment is on the paper, then that assignment hasn’t been handed in.  I okayed anything that was handed in on Monday.

I’m so sorry about not getting my blog updated last week.  After 3 days of snow days and then 3 days of being out of the classroom due to meetings last week was a blur!  So let’s move on to this week!

A book needs to be chosen for the 3rd Quarter Book Talk by this Friday.  Please look for further information under the Book Talk page.

Monday:  Drop #9 & 10, review proper adjectives, worksheet to be completed in class, and finding proper adjectives in a newspaper.

Tuesday: Review appositives, worksheet to be completed in class and finding appositives in a Storyworks magazine.

Wednesday:  Go over work from last week- “Three Skies” and “Lost in a Blizzard”

Thursday & Friday:  Review author’s purpose by using articles in a Storyworks magazine and do a MAP preparation story with questions-  “Lessons from Ghosts”
