Sunday, February 15th, 2009Your child was given a small slip of paper Monday, Feb. 16, to tape into that day’s agenda. If the paper was blank, nothing is owed. If an assignment is on the paper, then that assignment hasn’t been handed in. I okayed anything that was handed in on Monday.
Monday: Language- Drop in the Bucket #9 and #10, and reintroduce appositives
Tuesday: Language- find appositives in textbooks and Storyworks, use worksheets for assessments
Reading- This week we’ll continue working on comprehension using a poem, a fiction story and a newspaper article.
Wednesday: finish the poem “Life Doesn’t Frighten Me” from last Friday questions due at the end of class and begin working on the fiction story “The Day the Worms Moved In” quiz and questions
Thursday: finish “The Day the Worms Moved In” quiz and questions due at the end of class
Friday: newspaper article “Wash Up folks” questions
