March 9-13
Monday, March 9th, 2009I will miss school on Monday due to a fever. I really hope to be back Tuesday. When I return I will give the kids a little slip of paper that shows what they didn’t have handed in for the 3rd quarter.
Monday: Language- I’ve left 2 different lessons for my substitute to do today.
Tuesday: Mrs. Skaggs will be in the classroom.
Language- Correctly using quotation marks.
Reading- We’ll be starting to read The Lightning Thief.
Wednesday: Introduce The Lightning Thief using vocabulary. Introduce the folder that will be used.
Reading Response Journal: What is this story going to be about?
Thursday: Reader’s Theater of The Lightning Thief. Sign up for discussion partners using the temples of the Greek gods.
Friday: Go over vocab for chapters 1-3 of The Lightning Thief.
Assign questions.
