Book Talk
A Book Talk is simply telling about a book that has been read. All the specific details that I want the Book Talk to cover are in the Communication Arts Notebook. Each student will give one Book Talk each quarter.
The 1st quarter Book Talk book needs to be chosen by September 28. Books need to be chosen a couple of weeks before the Book Talk so that students have plenty of time to read the books and get all the information that is needed.
20 points and the back page copied onto the front page will be given for choosing a book by September 28th. Any student who doesn’t have the book chosen by the 28th will need to copy the back page onto the front page and give it to me at the time of the Book Talk. A copy of the Book Talk is located in the Communication Arts Notebook.
1st quarter Book Talks will begin October 12, 2009.
